HEMOSKIN ROST is a cleaning agent for removing rust, transforming rust and corrosion on metal surfaces, primarily iron and steel. The agent transforms rust and makes it easy to remove from metal surfaces. It is used for preparing surfaces before final antirust protection or paints. HEMOSKIN ROST is especially suitable for preparing surfaces where it is difficult or impossible to use other methods, such as mechanical rust removal (e.g. scrubbing and similar). It is used for large fixed cast iron, pipe and installation structures, armatures and similar. HEMOSKIN ROST is applied manually (or by immersion) on cleaned and degreased surfaces. After application, the agent must be allowed to react for half an hour to two hours, depending on the severity of the damage and external temperature. For severe damage, the process must be repeated. After that, the phosphate salts must be mechanically removed from the surface and rinsed with water, or with mild alkaline agents (HEMOSKIN 130). Finally, the surfaces must be dried, before final antirust protection or paints. It does not react with coal and coal ashes, but it has a slight effect on aluminum. It is used without dilution.
