Famredol Ultra Sint is a range of high-quality synthetic industrial gear oils produced from polyalphaolefin (PAO) base stocks, available in ISO viscosity grades 150, 220, 320, and 460. These advanced synthetic gear oils deliver outstanding operational performance that significantly exceeds that of conventional mineral gear oils, particularly in extreme temperature conditions and demanding industrial applications.
The PAO synthetic base oils provide a naturally high viscosity index, meaning the oil maintains more consistent viscosity across a wider temperature range. At low temperatures, Famredol Ultra Sint flows more readily than mineral oils of equivalent grade, reducing startup friction and energy consumption. At elevated temperatures, it retains higher film strength, providing superior protection under thermal stress. This temperature versatility makes synthetic gear oils especially valuable in applications with wide operating temperature swings or in hot environments where mineral oils would thin excessively.
These oils are formulated for the lubrication of all types of gear and worm transmissions operating under conditions of high and impact loads. The EP additive package provides robust protection against gear tooth wear, pitting, and scuffing, while the inherent lubricity of PAO base stocks reduces friction losses and improves mechanical efficiency.
Key advantages over mineral gear oils include extended drain intervals that reduce maintenance costs and oil consumption, improved energy efficiency through lower friction, better protection at temperature extremes, and reduced deposit formation. Famredol Ultra Sint is recommended for critical industrial gearboxes, including those in steel mills, cement plants, mining operations, wind turbines, and other demanding applications where maximum gear protection, extended service life, and operational reliability are paramount.
